DIY {stamping fun}

Well this isn’t really a DIY project, but I wasn’t sure what other label to put on it. The older boys are two years apart, so obviously they are at different places as far as learning goes. Biggest Brother is learning to read and spell, while Big Brother knows his letters and just enjoys practicing them and spelling his name. It provides fun spelling and letter sounding practice for my oldest, reinforces letter recognition for his brother and gives me time to sneak in some form of chocolate while they aren’t watching.

I bought two sets of Alphabet stamps from Hobby Lobby: uppercase and lowercase. They were $12.99 each, but I bought them when they were 50% off…so a good deal for stamps. If you are OCD this will drive you crazy: the stamps have ink all over them and are always out of order. It takes a deep breath for me not to want to organize and clean them all the time. These are also the stamps I used on our prayer journal. Big Brother finds stamping his mouth just as much fun as stamping the paper…
