T-Rex inducing smiles

Our weekend was…eventful, yet not so much. Chris had surgery on his back on Friday. It was a long time coming and I’m looking forward to how good he is going to feel post-recovery. Instead of doing anything active with the kids, we were pretty calm and chill….which means “boring” to a couple of my crew!

Corbett wanted to log more practice time with the drone and Hudson needed entertainment. The T-Rex costume might potentially be the greatest investment Corbett has ever made.

They stayed busy for a good hour.

I followed them on my bike around Main Street. I’m not sure what it is about a T-Rex costume, but it instantly makes people smile. I had just as much fun watching the joy they were bringing to others as I did watching them. More smiling is definitely needed right now and it was fun seeing my guys as the catalyst for that joy.

Happy Monday – I hope you run into a T-Rex that runs through city splash pads and does cartwheels for kids. If you do – I bet you’ll smile.
