In front of Elisabeth Rose’s camera…

Several years ago a friend from church asked me if her teenage daughter could take the SnapShop Online DSLR course as a homeschooler. Of course, I excitedly said she could. Fast forward to 2019 and that talented teenager has grown up, graduated, learned from so many others, and is now pursuing a photography degree.

I will treasure the images she captured of my crew. But I also treasure that I get to see her using her talents and passion in photography as a career and as a way to give back to others. Running an online school means I often don’t get to see where it all leads for students. Being in front of Elisabeth Rose’s camera was extra sweet..

Also….my kids are so big!!

Evidently our Article sofa can hold 7 people and a dog! My oldest daughter thought Arley (our dog) looked like she was smiling for pictures too – it cracked my daughter up.

Bet you might have forgotten we have chickens! We’ve gone through a few flocks over the years due to a couple coyotes and a large fox. Ugh. Among these chickens I only know 2 of their names. One is Polynesian Sauce – Hudson named her that and it makes me laugh every time they call her. Another one is “Betty”. I named her. I went 40 days without sugar and was craving a brownie when we got the chicks. “Betty” is a nod to Betty Crocker 😉

I asked Elisabeth to get one of me without my shoes – to document the current height situations.

Elisabeth sent me a link to the pictures while Corbett was at kids camp (as a volunteer). He and I share a mutual appreciation for memes, so I sent him this. For a guy that never texts his mom back, he responded pretty quickly when this came across his phone!

Thank you so much Elisabeth. We love them!!
