A break from the dust & heat - Ashley Ann Campbell

A break from the dust & heat

When you don’t own a pool in the summer in Oklahoma…also known as ‘how I spent early childhood summers with my sister’…minus all the cute boys playing football in my yard!

I used my 70-200mm lens to capture these shots. I like using a zoom when my daughter is flinging water, so that I can keep my camera dry. Kids playing in water is one of my favorite things to photograph during the summer. Their faces always radiate such joy – it is contagious. It is also currently a nice break from all the construction dust and dirt in my house!

If your kids are signed up for the SnapShop Kids class, there is a lesson on capturing water. I would love to hear how they liked it. Parents – you can take the kids course too 😉
