my family in front of the camera

Several weeks ago we had the honor of having Beth of Liz Anne Photography and her family stay a few days with us. I met Beth years ago when she took a SnapShop. We have definitely switched roles, there is so much I could learn from her. While here, her family joined my family for one of our regular Saturday night dinners. We were grilling out at my uncle and aunt’s house – and fishing. I asked Beth if she would mind snapping a few shots of my family. She graciously agreed and I am so grateful.

We weren’t in ‘picture’ clothes, but I did convince the boys to wear cargo shots instead of basketball shorts. I’ll take what I can get from them these days!

This picture makes me all kinds of happy…it is such a clear reflection of the personalities of my crew.

She really doesn’t like being in front of a camera 🙂4.14fam-114.14fam-12

Large group shots are not fun for most photographers…so I am sure Beth was just thrilled when I asked her to snap a quick shot of my whole family. She was so sweet to take a very impromptu photo of our large group…it helps that my aunt and uncle have a beautiful yard! No one in my family was prepared to be in front of the camera, but I am sure glad they willingly participated. I don’t think I have a single photo of all of us together. I am also sure before the day ends I am going to be getting lots of phone calls requesting a copy of this because I have forgotten to share it with them. I’m so behind on everything in my life right now! Here’s your peek fam, I’ll get you copies soon.4.14fam-13

Thank you so much Beth for letting us take advantage of you!
