my family in front of the camera
Several weeks ago we had the honor of having Beth of Liz Anne Photography and her family stay a few days with us. I met Beth years ago when she took a SnapShop. We have definitely switched roles, there is so much I could learn from her. While here, her family joined my family for one of our regular Saturday night dinners. We were grilling out at my uncle and aunt’s house – and fishing. I asked Beth if she would mind snapping a few shots of my family. She graciously agreed and I am so grateful.
We weren’t in ‘picture’ clothes, but I did convince the boys to wear cargo shots instead of basketball shorts. I’ll take what I can get from them these days!
This picture makes me all kinds of happy…it is such a clear reflection of the personalities of my crew.
She really doesn’t like being in front of a camera 🙂
Large group shots are not fun for most photographers…so I am sure Beth was just thrilled when I asked her to snap a quick shot of my whole family. She was so sweet to take a very impromptu photo of our large group…it helps that my aunt and uncle have a beautiful yard! No one in my family was prepared to be in front of the camera, but I am sure glad they willingly participated. I don’t think I have a single photo of all of us together. I am also sure before the day ends I am going to be getting lots of phone calls requesting a copy of this because I have forgotten to share it with them. I’m so behind on everything in my life right now! Here’s your peek fam, I’ll get you copies soon.
Thank you so much Beth for letting us take advantage of you!
