little arrows…
Thank you.
Thank you for your outpouring of support and excitement for our family regarding bringing our Little One home.
There are so many families that grow via adoption and they do it with little to no support. We are incredibly humbled and grateful for the immense support and true excitement you have shown our family. “Thank You” just doesn’t seem adequate.
I will take your great recommendations and check out Marshalls or TJ Max for luggage. And for those curious, we will only be making one trip. The trip will last about 2 weeks and then we will get to be home as a family of 7. I explain more details on all that later.
……………………………..
The rest of this post is not related to adoption in any way. I’ve been so busy with random things around here that I haven’t done a lot of creative stuff with the kids. So this week I decided to try something off one of my Pinterest boards. I found a tutorial for tiny bows & arrows on The Brooding Hen: It looked like a simple project and I already had all the supplies on hand.
It thought it would be extra fun to make a target and let the boys dip their ‘arrows’ in paint before launching them.
They liked my target for a bit, but decided to set up a block city with Lego men inside instead.
My oldest (8) really enjoyed this project and had pretty good aim. My 6 year old liked it, but it was a bit harder for him. My 4 year old gave up pretty quickly. So, if you have older kids I really recommend it. Simple. Fun.
I am still finishing up the latest update on The Incubator Project. I hope to post it later today or tomorrow.
