a little bit of lots of stuff
Over the weekend I got to play the role of wedding photographer. Two years ago I took Rebekah’s senior photos. There are a handful of people I have met through this blog that I’ve also had the honor of getting to know in ‘real life’. Rebekah and her mom are two of those people. I’ve always read every comment that is left on my blog. I don’t always have time to respond, but I read them. Over the last several years, Rebekah’s mom has consistently left me such encouraging notes – she is the proud mom to 5 girls and 1 boy. It was an honor to spend the day with them for Rebekah’s wedding. I am still trying to download all the pictures and work through them…but here is a glimpse…..
While I was downloading wedding pictures, I was also clearing off old pictures on my computer. Here are a few I found from a couple weeks ago of FireCracker and her cousin. Sweet Pea was dressed so cute. We were at my parent’s for my son’s birthday dinner. I am a huge advocate for always having an extra camera battery, in case the one in your camera dies. Well, in the middle of these pictures my battery died and the extra was at home. I didn’t get any birthday dinner pics, but I did get some of my cutie niece.
My girl is so meant to be a big sister.
Just your everyday hanging out a Nana’s looking way too cute.
And, again unrelated to the photos above, I have a guest post up on Skip To My Lou. For the month of May there is a series going on featuring Teacher Appreciation gift ideas. So many crazy creative bloggers are contributing…you can check out my post, but really you’ll want to see all the other ones that have already been featured. Funny inside tidbit: if you look at the photos in my post, you can tell it took me a couple days to finish a very simple project. The first few photos the rose if very full, then when I photographed it again – well it is missing a lot of petals!
And finally, some ‘business’ stuff to mention:
The April/May SnapShop began on Sunday. The course is full, but I have decided to do another one before the fall. Originally we were unsure of travel dates for our adoption, so I announced that the April/May course would be the last until the fall. We will not be traveling in the early summer at this point, so I have now set dates for the next one to be June 3rd – June 24th. This means I will only be doing two in the fall, instead of three in the fall. If you are interested in more information or would like to register for the June course, you can do so by clicking here.
I am currently booking May and June advertising spots.
