The Christmas Gathering 2011
Whirlwind.
It came.
It went.
It was good.
The Christmas Gathering is an annual event the Women’s Ministry at my church puts on in November. It is hard to really describe it. A few ‘seminars’ on various topics, great giveaways, lots of women….several hours. The tickets (about 3,000) this year sold out in about 3 weeks. This year I shared a couple of photo tips related to the holidays, a few ideas for displaying pictures and a few diy photo ideas. There was a seminar on “What’s Hot” and a seminar full of great entertaining ideas. Thankfully, I was the first to go. It is nice to go first. I didn’t have to have my stomach in knots all night! After my seminar, we got to pass out $10.00 gift cards from Mpix to every woman in attendance. Nice. Chris took pictures of the ladies waiting to get in the room and a few during my presentation.
I’ll be sharing some tutorials and other related things from the event today and tomorrow. That means there will be more than one post today and tomorrow. Hopefully you will enjoy them. So check back later today for 2 more posts…
Before I go on to my stuff, I thought I’d share a few of the links that I could find related to what was in the other seminars. Some of these are pictured above.
