Day 16 {going for a walk}
My girl is used to lots of noise and activity around her. I don’t think she’s been overstimulated a day in her life – so unlike my firstborn. The hospital isn’t so noisy. In our room there aren’t balls zooming past our heads, Legomen battling galactic wars or much of anything really. She gets bored. So we’ve been taking her on ‘walks’ every now and then. I’m sure we are a bit of a spectacle going down the hall…her crib is like a parade float. She loves it though. She cries when we return to the room (the downside of our walks).
Some of you have asked about what lens I am using at the hospital. Every picture has been with my 24-70mm f/2.8…no flash.
Have you seen Pleated Poppy‘s “What I wore Wednesday”? Well, lets just say I could enter tomorrow with “What I wore the last 3 Wednesdays” – Gap holey jeans, white hoodie jacket, Target flip-flops. Killer style going on here.
And speaking of walking….these two are going to be walking down the aisle soon. In my normal uninterrupted life I would not know a thing about this upcoming wedding or the couple. But thanks to hospital cable and the fact there really isn’t anything worth watching on tv – I am now an expert on Will & Kate. I can answer all kinds of trivia about them. If I didn’t have a SnapShop on Saturday I’d be tempted to throw a wedding watch party 🙂 She is incredibly beautiful.
If you are ready for something not related to the hospital…I update the “My Lovelies” tab with some new links….
