Finally a snow day! {& camera settings}
It’s been about 7 years since we had an beautiful snow in Oklahoma -at least in the part of the state where I live. A couple weeks ago we were surprised by 6+ inches of thick snow. It was the kind that comes down fluffy and makes you feel like you are in a life size snow globe. I know many of you are are quite used to this kind of snow, but not us.
The last time we had this kind of snow my house was full of little ones that needed a lot of help getting dressed to play outside and it only lasted a few minutes. We don’t have the gear for snow – I’m not buying stuff we only use once every 7 years. Plastic bags around tennis shoes and layers of leggings under jeans is how we roll. Well, except Everett. He is all for shorts regardless of the weather!
It has been a really long time since I shared photo settings, so I thought I would include those again. All of these were shot with my Canon 6D and my 70-200mm lens. I used that lens so I could stand at a distance while shooting.
