the first to get married!
After a week of exploring Kentucky and Illinois, we were ready for the highlight of our trip – my niece’s wedding! Chris is the youngest of 4. His brother’s oldest daughter is 9 years younger than Chris and the first Campbell grandkid to get married. I have a feeling cousin weddings are going to become a pretty regular event for my kids in the coming years – they have a lot of cousins in or entering the 20s!
Congratulations JT & Carrie!!!
I stood in front of the wedding photographer to get the shot of them leaving. I felt like as family, I was the priority, so I just booty-bopped her out of my way. It was worth it to get the photo. (totally kidding – I was the wedding photographer).
The cousins and Carrie’s sisters got the party started on the dance floor….Our youngest didn’t leave the dance floor. There is a good chance she gets her killer dance moves from Hudson, but her love for dancing from her grandpa and dad.
Watching my daughters dance with their college aged cousins was a highlight to an incredible family celebration. It made my heart swell seeing my nieces welcome in and include my girls in their dance circles. My girls will be talking about the wedding and that dance floor for a long time. I married into an incredible family and am so deeply thankful for them.
