Aunt Ashley’s traveling farm
As we headed out the door to join my family for dinner at my parents’, I thought it would be fun to bring the dog and our some of our new chicks. We looked like a traveling farm unloading our commercial 12 passenger van! I had a feeling my nieces and nephew (well, mainly one niece) would love to see the chicks…I was right.
I actually forgot I took these until I pulled out the memory card for something else. I LOVE being their aunt. Like super love it – obviously if I loaded up a dog crate to bring chicks to dinner as a surprise for them 😉
There are specific things and moments I remember about the aunt I spent the most time with growing up. She was (and is) tons of fun, engaged, and always present in my life. When I think about her, I wonder what these three will remember about me…
