girlband and cookie dough {cousins} - Ashley Ann Campbell

girlband and cookie dough {cousins}

We have ‘outdoor’ toys and a list of activities that my kids hear me say, “that is for outside only.” Well, thanks to my dad, the girls now how ‘outside’ shirts. I am not sure where he got them, but guitar shirts that come with amps are an actual thing.

The guitar actually plays – and it plays loud.

Introducing the Zellers Campbell girl band…

You guys – these shirts are so loud (as in actual volume). My younger two guys were pretty jealous. Pappy only gets the girls Valentine’s, so the boys were left wishing the shirts were a few sizes larger.

Don’t feel too bad for them though – they were still part of my mom’s annual Grandkid Valentine Day party and got their fill of candy and other grandparent goodies that I won’t buy them!Cousins are one of the best things about living in our hometown. There is that familiarity of family, but with the added bonus of time together being extra special because it isn’t all day, everyday.
My niece isn’t used to fighting off older boys when she makes cookie dough at her house!Growing up my dad would make chocolate chip cookie dough and freeze it in logs wrapped in wax paper. Instead of eating cookies, Lesley and I would slice off dough. Evidently, the love of cookie dough is strong in our family. I’d say we only eat it because our eggs are fresh from the backyard, but that would be lying. We’d eat it anyway 😉

Cookie dough after their concerts might become a thing.
