lingering with her

She inadvertently teaches me so much about slowing down as I sit with her to finish her dinner. We chat about her day long after everyone else has ran off to do other things. Sometimes I find myself wishing she would eat faster (okay, a lot of times), so I could finish up dishes and begin all the other nighttime routines. She has other plans though….and when I linger at the table with her she makes me laugh and the weight of the day often feels so much lighter. Noodle slurping doesn’t hurt either.

Several of you have asked questions or left comments the last week or two. I am hoping to block out some time to go back and respond to all those. I apologize I have not been able to do it sooner!
