Be Crafty Mother + Daughter {recap}

It has been a couple weeks since the Be Crafty Mother + Daughter. My oldest daughter is already planning the next one. We’ll have to convince Amanda to come back next year. In the past, I’ve attended or helped lead various crafting events. There was just something so special about this one. Seeing mothers, daughters, aunts and friends have a couple hours to do something fun and different together was pretty incredible.

The event took place at The Workshop Tulsa (a creative co-working space). We filled the space with pretty decorations and crafting supplies. There was so much interest in the event we held two: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Amanda, my daughter, and I demonstrated how to do the featured crafts and then set everyone loose to create.

Thank you to all the young girls, young ladies and ladies that came out to craft with us. We had such a fun time with you all!

If you do a crafting party with girls, you have to include a silly face group shot. Obviously.groupshot2The event would not have been possible without the help of several ladies and numerous incredible companies. Each of the Mother + Daughter pairs went home with a swag bag full of goodies. There were also several pretty fun giveaways for lucky winners. We are so grateful for the event sponsors!
