Happy Chinese New Year!

Little One and I headed to the Asian market yesterday and picked up several non-essential items, like Vietnamese instant coffee, to prepare for a big family dinner tonight. This is the only time of the year that extended family on my side and Chris’ side gathers at our house. I love it! I won’t be cooking. I learned last year that catering is a much tastier option since my only Chinese relative is two! My mom and kids made a big horse costume in celebration that it is ‘the year of the horse’. The photo below is just the head. I’ll try to get a shot tonight of all the kids in it.
