capturing my crew
I am sad to say we did not do Christmas cards this year. I know not everyone is big on cards, but I really enjoy getting them from friends. December is such a fun time to go to the mailbox. I like getting cards and I like sending them. Cards with photos are my favorite; seeing the smiling (and silly faces) of my friends and their kids just makes me happy. So, thank you, to all those that send me cards. Please don’t take me off your list for next year! I’m not sure what happened this year, but I just never got around to making cards.
We did actually take a few photos. My friend Bopha of B.Gambill Photography did mini-sessions in our field, so we snuck in front of her camera for a few family shots. I took several of the kids while I had her couch available. Oddly enough, I captured one photo of all five kids looking at the camera and smiling.
Here are a few Bopha took of us. We were not making silly faces, the goal was everyone look at Bopha and smile. That did not happen.
And then I snapped some more of the kids.
If I get all those projects I started this week finished, I might post something on that next week. Or I might not. All my guys have been gone for the last 6 days. They’ve been on a man trip. Chris took our guys skiing for the first time and they are making unforgettable memories. But I sure miss them. The girls and I are so anxious for them to get back today. Everything just feels off when we aren’t together. Hurry home guys!!
