snippets from around here
Several days of snow kept us inside and curled up under blankets. I am a very big wimp when it comes to cold weather. If you are from frigid areas of the globe, I am sure watching me in cold weather would be entertaining. A big wimp.
This December we are keeping things so simple. We are celebrating the season with lots of down time and moving slow. Just a few decorations. Life has felt cluttered, so I am craving simple and meaningful.
My sister has a print included in a special collection from Jones Design Company. I used washi tape to attach the prints to three frames already hanging on the wall. Some would call it lazy to not put the prints in the frame, I call it resourceful.
This next picture melts me. There isn’t much better than my kids helping each other. They fight like brothers and they love like brothers. My oldest will be 10 in 2 months. I am not handling it very well. Ten. How is it possible that he will be ten?
Their little sister has become a big HAM for the camera…constantly popping her head in my shots.
A Mpix thumbprint photo box of my favorite 50 pictures from our Galveston trip arrived. These pictures make me happy on cold days. I really like the little box to keep them organized, but I am also brainstorming how I can display some of the shots. I’d do a square photo wall, but I already have one of those. Brainstorming.
Our decorations are few, but festive.
The girls rearrange the nativity sets all day long. When they step away, the boys use them for other purposes. Kids keep life fun.
