print in a bag {quick gift} - Ashley Ann Campbell

print in a bag {quick gift}

So I have sat here for about 10 minutes trying to figure out how to introduce this post/project. Nothing is coming. You know I like simple and easy. I also like thoughtful and supporting small businesses and artists. This combines all those things. Not much more to explain!

Supplies:

  • 5×7 paper treat bags (mine are from Box & Bow)
  • 5×7 print (mine are from Mod by Mel – she has a 10 pack of 5×7 cards for $12.00)
  • Fabric, ribbon, twine, etc.
  • Clothespin (mind is decorated with a tree and deer)

This project was inspired by a last minute family trip. I was planning on taking my good friend a meal – she had just had a baby. Sidenote: my group of friends always use TakeThemAMeal.com for coordinating meals after babies are born, funerals, surgeries, etc. It is a free site and has saved my group of friends a lot of sanity. Anyway, my friend just had a baby and I was excited to be next up on the schedule. Then Chris got the idea for a last minute trip out of town. To make up for the fact that I was not bringing her a hot homemade meal, I wrapped a cute print up with a gift card to a great pizza shop. Her hubby can pick up dinner on the way home and she’ll have a cute print to remind her of my randomness! She’s known me since 6th grade, I doubt any of this surprised her!
