going for a swim

FireCracker will try anything. Little One watches her big sister’s every move. These two girls need each other. I can’t imagine them apart. One was never meant to be the baby in the family and one needed a big sister to show her the ropes. That big sister has also been the one to motivate, convince, push and cheer her little sister on to every big milestone she’s made.

When this summer began we were celebrating Little One’s bravery just to put her feet in the water – a huge accomplishment for a little girl who had been terrified of water in general. All summer, Little One has watched her big sister jumping, splashing, laughing and swimming in the pool. And all summer Little One has made leaps in regards to water. Yesterday the tiny girl that clung to Chris for dear life in a pool 2 months ago, decided she was ready for swimming!
Yeah, she’s pretty much awesome.
