Little One’s first pigtails

Two years ago, I attempted my very first pigtails on FireCracker. I wrote a whole post on it – it was a BIG deal after three boys!

And today it was Little One’s first time with pigtails! A few things to note about the following pictures…my living room is always changing. I no longer have time to straighten my hair and I’ve embraced major bangs. My now 7 year old son draws anything his little sister asks him to draw – including princess love scenes on the chalkboard. And FireCracker was probably even more excited than I was about her sister’s pigtails.

This last shot is from my phone..I wish I had my dslr outside with me for this shot. Guess I’ll just have to give her pigtails again soon…

She is so crazy cute. I am very thankful my girls have older brothers. I am banking on my boys scaring away any would-be boyfriends in the teenage years!
