Bison go with Ka-Rip

We got married at the start of our senior year in college…that was 11 years ago. Recently we headed back to campus for our 10 year reunion.  It is always a little weird to be there now. I felt like I should be sitting on a random bench with my journal somewhere, but instead I was watching kids run crazy. I liked college, but it wasn’t ‘the greatest years of my life’. I much prefer these years….

Hey girl, when did you get so old and big?

The older he gets, the trickier it is to capture a natural smile. I treasure it when I do. Being his mom is such a gift.

Our visit ended with lots of sitting on the Golden Bison….also known as ‘riding the Bison’ to them. That might have broken some kind of school mascot code, but really if you put a Bison head that low to the ground what do you expect Alumni kids to do?
