going out for a hike
So, as my sweet (& funny) friend Tracey pointed out – yesterday’s photo did not look like the woods at all. That photo was taken on a vehicle trail…here are more that look lots more “woodsey”. We were able to make a trip out of town for a special party (more on that later). During our little trip we tromped through the woods. It was good to be outside and surrounded by the massive trees and with my family. No agenda other than enjoy ourselves…which 6 of the 7 of us did.

She was tired, so we sat for a while together. My oldest son took this photo.
I put the camera on Auto for my son…SnapShop students take note of the big change in the settings ISO 400, 1/250, f/8.0
My oldest son is so much like me. He savors time alone in the vast outdoors.
