our kids formed a bowling league

Remember in June when I posted a picture of bowling lanes I found on Craigslist?

Well 3 sections are at my aunt’s house. The other two sections are getting ready to receive a new life as counter tops and a work table in the studio. Before my dad and Chris began working their magic on the lanes, the kids did a little bowling.

She didn’t have the best aim, so she did it her own way.

We’ve been watching a lot of Olympics.

Chris took a floor sander to the lanes to get off the top coat. They’ll get a new food-safe protective coat and will serve us nicely as counter tops. I’m grateful for a husband and dad that support my non-traditional ideas. They’ve been working so hard to get some remaining big jobs done before we leave.

Two weeks from today.

TWO WEEKS from today I meet my daughter.
