slowing down summer
I knew I could count on you guys for great tips on life with a kitten/cat. I’ll be referencing those tips in the weeks to come. My first goal is to get a cat scratcher…you guys made it very clear I need to invest in one. So, thanks again for your help. I have been working HARD on our 2011 family albums. It takes hours to make it through each month. I am thinking I’m going to need to pull an all nighter this week to get it done. For those that asked, here is a post about our 2010 albums. This year I am making it with Blurb…because I wanted the whole year in one book. Previously, I’ve had to break the year into a couple of books.
Anyway…today is just some random shots of summer around here…with camera settings.

This is one of my favorite pictures. Don’t all little girls have three strong boys push their John Deere when it gets stuck?

This could be the best $5.00 summer toys I’ve ever purchased. Granted I still have to tie the balloons, but making them is so easy for the kids. ~ 24-70mm lens, ISO 160, 1/160, f/2.8
And when the balloon busts, you spray yourself in the face. Awesome. ~ 24-70mm lens, ISO 160, 1/250, f/2.8
Such a good big brother….hearing her laugh when he is entertaining her is one of my favorite sounds
