Little One’s new quilt
So, I haven’t taken down the sheets hanging in our backyard. They just make me smile to sit among them in the shade. Several months ago I asked Anna of For the Love of Joy to make a quilt for our Little One. My aunt made me a gorgeous quilt in a chevron pattern about a year ago. I thought it would be cute to have one similar but different for our youngest daughter. I think I’ll put them on the girls’ beds.
I told Anna I’d get her a photo to use in her etsy shop (she is selling the pattern now). When I went to set up for the pictures, FireCracker followed me outside. She was in a posing mood…so I happily snapped away. Her headband is actually mine. I got it at Craft Weekend from Daisy and Dots.
Yep, I think the sheets are going to have to stay….
Totally unplanned…her headband matched my bunting.
Her brothers have taught her to always flex her muscles for pictures.
Close Up. The backside is a lovely floral print.
For those that asked yesterday, no her birthday is not July 4th. It is just near the holiday.
She is the funniest mix of a little girl. I cannot fathom our family without her in it.
