his prank backfired

The boys were riding bikes.

I was headed down the driveway to go running.

And then I saw him.

I ran back in the house and grabbed my camera.

Well, that didn’t work so well.  It was humid hot outside and my camera was cool from being inside. I had to wait for the lens to clear up.

Much better.

Yes, he is totally crashed out on the driveway. He is going through a phase where he likes to pretend he is asleep and then ‘scare’ me. Well, I guess I took too long getting on my running shoes and he actually did fall asleep.

“Mom, is he really asleep or faking it?”

“Yep, he is crashed out. Don’t wake him.”

So I took advantage of the evening light and unheard of stillness in this little guy…

There is just something about little boys (and girls) when they sleep…so peaceful and innocent. And quiet 🙂
