a few favorites from my phone

Instead of doing a May instagram post, I thought I just share a few pictures from my phone taken over the last month. That big instagram image was taking a long time to load. So, here is just a few of my favorite phone pics…

The glasses were party favors from a birthday party. This picture makes me all kinds of crazy happy.

She has given this doll (and two others) the same name as her little sister. She’s optimistic her sister will be this still for photos.

And because I know someone will ask, the hanging photo things in the boy’s room are from Photojojo. The flowers in my room are from a Martha Stewart tutorial.

FireCracker yelling, “I want to hug my sister!!” ~ My oldest is very interested in all things related to China right now.

He has been reading as many books as I will let him check out regarding Chinese history and culture. I am learning so much from him.

Cold section lights at Target. ~ I’m thankful for the beauty that comes after pruning.

Secret: sometimes at Target I wait to go to the cold section until all the lights are off just so I watch them all light up as I walk past. Whoever invented motion sensitive lights and put them in Target – thank you, I feel like a rockstar.

She LOVES her brothers, but sure marches to her own girly beat.

Thankful for evenings (like last night) where peace like a river rolls.

I’m curious if I will have Instagram access when we are in China. Anyone know how that works? Right now I only take a photo a day on there of something I am thankful for in my day to day life. I might have to break the self-implemented one photo a day rule while we are gone!
