My monthly post over on Design*Sponge was posted yesterday. Here’s a link. And here’s a peek:

I really, really like the Hipstamatic app for iphones. I have yet to venture over to Instagram. When you take a photo with Instagram does it automatically make it public for everyone?
The hard thing about pictures with fun apps is that they stand out so much from all my other pictures. I can’t easily fit them into my photo book albums at the end of the year. So, I am thinking this year at the end of each family album I will have several pages that are just collages like this of all the pictures I take with my phone….
All of these pictures were taken with Hipstamatic. I used the Buckhorst H1 lens and Ina’s 1969 film. Hipstamatic by default has a setting that every time you shake your camera it will randomly select a lens and film. I prefer to keep all my pictures from an event looking the same, so I don’t like that function. You can go to your phone settings to change it…just fyi.
What other creative apps do you like? Has anyone tried Momento? I’m thinking I might really like that one. I wish there was an app for getting quick approvals from all the government offices for an international adoption. Or maybe one where I could just scan my fingerprints and they instagram me back an approval..that would be nice.
