poolside…well kind of

I’m a content girl. There isn’t much in life I want in regards to ‘stuff’…..the biggest exception being a pool.  Maybe one day I’ll bask in the sun next to my pool, but until then we make do with the little blow up kind. I splurged and got a bigger one with a slide and basketball hoop this year. Once we opened the box up, my 5 year old and I looked at eachother with equal disappointment. THE POOL IS SMALL. By day 3 the slide must have been carried off in the wind. Bummer.

Below is that new “Big” pool we got. Sad little thing. Cute little girls. Last December I was at Baby Gap and saw both of these swimsuits. I wanted to get Sweet P the ruffle one, but I didn’t want to take away the fun of buying a first swimsuit from my sister. So I called her and told her there was a swimsuit just perfect for my niece. I’m so glad she got it. Last year FireCracker’s swimsuit was white & green. After a summer in the dirt with her brothers it was tan & green. I smartened up and got a black suit for her this year. Who knew Baby Gap sold swimsuits in December?!

FireCracker’s white flower is already cream. 🙂

Summer makes me happy.
