A Pigtail Kit

Every so often I get an email asking how I keep headbands & hats on FireCracker. Hats aren’t too hard because she enjoys wearing them. Headbands usually last long enough for me to get a picture…unless her oldest brother is around telling her how beautiful she is. She’ll leave them on for him. Her hair ‘growing straight back cowlick’ comes in handy in regards to keeping her hair out of her face.

However, she has awesome headband and hair clip hair…if only I could keep her from pulling them out. She got a cute gift in the mail – a Pigtail Kit. I like the metal tin as much as I like the inside of the box. I need to keep these in mind for future little girl birthday parties!

It included a pint size mirror, she obviously likes seeing herself 🙂

Lots of pretty little things.

I had no luck getting her to wear any of it. I tried (again) a clip I bought before she was born…..the sweet girl I bought these from no longer sells them.

This kills me.

But that clip met the same fate as all those that have gone before. I’ll keep trying. One day she’ll be rocking some pigtails….
