Day 4 {trying to stay entertained}

So the Style Your Space giveaway is still going on. Yes, I should have used the word “want” instead of “need”…but my mind isn’t really thinking through all that right now! 🙂

When I am asked about what kind of blog I write I usually say something along the lines of “a hodge podge collection of things that make up my days”. I know it might be hard for some of you to see pictures of my girl in the hospital, but right now this is what makes up my days. By choice I have not left the hospital. Maybe I will. Maybe I won’t. It is my decision. I like routine and schedules…those don’t exist right now. One daily routine from home that I can do in the hospital is write a little post here. It is the little bit of ‘normal’ I can still do. So this is where I am and this is where my blog will be for a bit.

FireCracker is doing so great. The pain has decreased tremendously and we are starting the entertainment battle. She’s never been one to sit still to watch movies and still isn’t that interested in them. Thankfully she has been SHOWERED with all kinds of new toys, games & activities. She only lasts 2-5 minutes with each activity, so the days seem really long. She has her spitfire personality back and has found new ways to be ornery.

When Chris sent out an email to friends letting him know she got hurt he said something about Wonder Woman learned she couldn’t fly.

She isn’t flying, but she is still BUSY BUSY BUSY.

Thanks for the suggestions some of you have been leaving. She’ll be stuck exactly like this until after Easter. I had a cast on one Easter as a little girl too. Maybe I can find one of those pictures to share with you!
