our first ER visit…and long stay

Life can change in a moment. I’m not too sure what the next two weeks on this blog will be looking like. There probably won’t be diy tutorials or gardening pictures. We made our first ER visit (yes, I am eating my words from last week). FireCracker and I will be living at the hospital for the next two weeks. 2 weeks. 2 weeks of keeping a 21 month old still. This is how we are feeling around here.

She loves to be held. She asks me to hold her all day, everyday. For the next 2 weeks she will be begging me to hold her even more than usual and I can’t. I can’t hold my baby for 2 weeks. If you have a little one at home begging to hold him or her….snuggle your sweet one and savor it. We’ll be snuggling next to eachother, longing for the day she can be held in my arms again.
