spring break
It made me laugh to read some of your comments about me starting our garden…your shock that it is warm enough here only weeks after a blizzard. The thing about Oklahoma is it can be below freezing one day and in the 80s the next. In fact 2 days after I did some planting in the garden I had to go out and cover it for the night because it got below freezing again. We’ve been enjoying Spring Break around here. We have gone back and forth between jackets & jeans to swimtrunks & tank tops.
My mom made my sister and I Easter bonnets when we were little. I’m thinking this should be her Easter ‘bonnet’ this year.
She may not like wearing headbands, but she sure can rock hats 🙂
This is the same picture from above, just cropped in closer. Typically I don’t crop on the computer. I try to shoot everything just as I want it – mainly because I don’t have much time for processing on the computer so I try to get it how I like it in the camera. This picture though I just love from a distance and up close. Her hat is from HeartSmiles.
I’m liking the girly stuff that comes along with having a daughter, but I will never get over having Super Heroes fill my house. On the day I took this photo of him I was not having the best of days. I came around the corner to find Batman playing a video game. There is just something about seeing Batman at my kitchen table that makes me smile. I love that when the boys dress up it isn’t like they are playing a game. They are becoming the super hero….
I’ve been told by friends that Chris doesn’t make an appearance on this blog enough.
Coming around a corner to see him at the kitchen table makes me smile too.
It is supposed to be in the 80s this weekend….we’ll be moving into the great outdoors for the weekend 🙂
