ages 0,1,2….a lot of little, a lot of fun
My grandparents read my blog (“Hi” Grandma & Grandpa). They recently told me they really enjoy my blog, but sure wish there were more pictures of their great grandkids. So this post is really for them…
We got to babysit again….it was only for a couple of hours, but it was fun. Of course, I had to snap a few pics of Sweet P. I had two little people that wouldn’t get out of my way wanted to be big helpers. When we watch my sister’s dog, Duncan, he CRASHES upon returning home after being at our house. Lesley said Sweet P sleeps really well after coming over too. So if you need your dog or kid to take a good nap let them come over to my place for a bit….it will wear them out.
I put Sweet P in FireCracker’s crib for her own protection while I was opening up curtains to take a few pictures. FireCracker thought it was so funny that her cousin was in her crib.
Littlest Brother was adamant that I take his picture laying down like Sweet P.
Crazy bed hair, pajama top and undies…great photo attire. (this photo was taken at 12:15pm, not in the morning)
Since I have learned you all like to see photo mistakes, I am sharing one below. You have too look closely at Sweet P’s eyes. You can tell that one eye is more in focus. I had my aperture set at f/2.8. I was too close to Sweet P and her eyes weren’t both the same distance from my camera. If her eyes had been on the same plane (same distance from the camera) they would have both been in focus. This could have been fixed by changing my aperture (increasing the f-stop number) or backing up a bit.
P in a bucket.
Of course he wanted his photo in the bucket too. He said babies don’t wear underwear so he stripped his off before climbing into the bucket. Kids are so funny. I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of hearing their random thought processes.

The Creative Mama blog emailed me a while back asking to do a mini tour of my “Creative Space”. In the email were links to two different photographer’s gorgeous studios. I emailed back and asked if they realized that I don’t have a ‘studio’, but that my Creative Space is my kitchen/living room. The response was, “that is all the more reason! It just shows that people can be creative anywhere!” I liked that response. It is true, you can be creative anywhere. You can see the little tour here:
