Philbrook Museum - Ashley Ann Campbell

Philbrook Museum

You guys had some fun ideas for the wood from yesterday….it does have something to do with my house, but not the nursery. As soon as I finish the project I’ll post some pictures. Now I have some ideas of more things to make – just got to convince Chris to cut more wood for me!

I know I have posted previously on how much I love Philbrook Museum, but I have to do it again. We took the boys there in February for the “Free Second Saturday” and “Family Day” activities (WHICH IS AGAIN THIS WEEKEND). I hadn’t been in a LONG time – Big Brother had never been. We had a such a great time. There were tons of very organized activities for the boys that we could do at our own pace. The boys also had a great time looking at paintings, artifacts, etc. – and RUNNING crazy in the back part of the garden. Now thru April 26th is an American Photography exhibit that is incredible.

Philbrook now has a MyMuseum Program for kids. “As members, families will receive art activity cards, an art supply, and an awesome toolkit to put everything in. And every month, MyMuseum club members will receive more cool stuff for their toolkit. Its fun, it’s educational, and it’s free!”

The boys are already excited to go back each month for their next art supply and art card. The MyMuseum takes place everyday…not just on Saturdays. I won’t be there this Saturday for the March Family Day – I’ll be doing my first SnapShop! If you are local, I highly recommend going out there this Saturday…or any day for that matter!
