Happy Birthday Chris {& day 1 vacation}
My incredible husband is celebrating his birthday today. I am so grateful for the years I have been blessed to walk beside him in this life. As a mom I pray, hope, and dream that my boys will grow up to be men like their father. He is the perfect combination of strength and tenderness…he is my best friend. Happy Birthday Babe! (If you know him…or even if you don’t…leave him a birthday comment!)
Well there are bagillion (is that really a word?) pictures to share from our mini vacation, so today I’ll start with day 1. Chris and I both took a couple of days off work to enjoy our family. We stayed home and tried to do all the things we usually don’t make time to do around here. Day one started with a family trip to the splash park, then a picnic, naps, bowling, dinner at Chilis, snowcones at home….
My boys never lack in expressions
“I am two and I have pouting down. I wanted to carry that ball.”
I love both of these. I know they are very similar, but I couldn’t decide which one to post. I like pictures that tell a story and help me remember things. Here it is that Big Brother was too small to fit in any of the shoes, so he had to wear his tiny flip flops.
Littlest Brother was with us all weekend…you can see him in the background of some of the other pictures. Here he is at Chili’s. Like I said, my boys are great at expressions!
