yawning…all week

UPDATE: Google Reader likes me again???????? That’s the word. Thanks for letting me know it is working! Happy day to me.

This is how I feel this morning….

Why? Could it be a brain freeze from too much ice cream mixed with Girl Scout Cookie Thin Mints?

Or could I be tired from the sheer number of wounds (mainly facial) that are a part of my normal day?

Nope. I’m tired because I know this is a BUSY week. This is BIRTHDAY WEEK for oldest brother! (yes, we celebrate for a week around here)

That means my house is once again taken over by primary color decorations picked out (and usually made) by my son. I’ve grown an aversion to primary colors over the years. It’s his birthday week…not mine….so I give in and let ugly his killer design sense take over!

There’s a lot of projects to be made. Desserts to be eaten. And LEGO fun to be had. I’ll share all that next week….if I’m not sleeping. Oh yea – I never get to sleep.

I have some friends that aren’t sleeping too much lately either.

They have a beautiful girly reason not to sleep a full 8 hours. Goodness do they have a cute reason! Snuggled babies make me happy.

Tiny baby girl in her daddy’s big hands makes me even happier.

Tiny baby girl sleeping…well today that just makes me jealous!

Congratulations P’s on your sweet girl…she is a treasure!

Hank {2.5 weeks}

Thanks for all your sweet comments on yesterday’s post. He is a pretty special little guy and I am pretty proud of him. Well I thought I’d change it up a bit and share some pictures of a baby that isn’t mine! My sweet friend just had her first baby – Hank. He is scrumptious and I had the pleasure of sneaking away from my boys to meet him and hang out with my friend for a bit. Goodness is he cute….it is impossible for me to be around a baby, without my kids and not take a few pictures. Enjoy!

I told his mom not think I am crazy when I took this one. I also told her to take his picture with this monkey again as he grows.

It cracked me up that the monkey’s head is bigger…it is not a big monkey.

The next two are very similar, I just can’t decide which one I like more. They are both so sweet, very much the same, but very different too.

Right before I left his cousin stopped by (whose mom is my college roomie and a bridesmaid in my wedding). A few brother-cousin shots.

Jill R - Congratulations!! Such a handsome little guy. Great pictures.

Meredith - Oh Ashley! There are no words for me to use to say thank-you enough. These pictures are wonderful and I am crying as I look at my precious baby. You are truly an artist and I so appreciate you sharing your talent with Hank and me! All my love – Meredith

Courtney Connelly - Truly wonderful pictures and so very special! ‘Thank you’ just is not adequate, but THANK YOU a million times over.

annie - The bw of mom kissing hank is priceless – I have one like that of each of my babies and I cherish it now that their bigger. What a lucky friend!

ashlee - Oh my word that baby is precious! So the decor in that room is amazing! I love, love that Joel Dewberry fabric with the sparrows. You are such a talented photographer!!

Rachel - Meredith — I love the ones with the two of you. They tell such a story of your love. I also love the one of cousin looking over the bed at little Hank. Beautiful family. Beautiful pictures.

Jenna - LOVE these and LOVE his nursery! Maybe Hank’s mommy could provide a little DIY for the piece hanging on the wall with his initials! :)

christina larsen - Babies are wonderful. He is beautiful!

Robyn Farmer - I like the shot where she is kissing him. So sweet.

keely - Meredith was my roomie in college! :)
These are beautiful! What a handsome fella.

anne c - I am sure it helps for the babies to be absolutely adorable when taking pictures, but I think you could take a picture of something not so cute…say a dirty trash can…and I would still like it. hahahaha

Erin - Such a sweet boy. Can’t wait to see him in person! Love that cousin is there too

Carrie - You are so talented!!!!

Flea - He’s the most adorable baby ever. And I like the first of the two mommy kissing baby photos.

Thanks so much for the woodburning lesson at the Christmas event. I just stepped up to the next level with a cup and detachable pens. Woodburning ROCKS.

Margie - These pictures are making me want to have another baby! So adorable! I just read your post ‘Meet Baby Sister’ (which also made me want to have another baby) and saw her name, so beautiful and such a coincidence…..my son’s name is Finley Daniel. LOVE IT!

Jenn G. - Meredith – He is so beautiful, and the pics are amazing… Congratulations!!!

Melissa - When I saw these precious pics, I wanted to take the opportunity to show Lily & talk about her upcoming baby brother. She actually leaned forward and kissed my computer screen when she saw the sweet pic of his mommy kissing him! Then when I went to post this comment, she did her “baby” sign and “more” sign because she wanted to see them again! Amazing job Ashley!

Tammi Ledbetter - Fabulous photographs. Talented photographer. Proud mama. I recognize the “Fields” in the cute young cousin and anticipate hearing a high pitched squeal that will remind me of another Fields baby.

Shauna - After reading the Haiti post about the hat, and then looking at these beautiful pictures, I need to go find the kleenex! Thank you for sharing.

Lydia Miller - These are absolutely wonderful!!!!! Meredith, you are such a beautiful mother. Hank is the perfect little bundle!!!!! Makes me want mine to get here soon!! ;) I love these!!! Ashley, you did an awesome job! I especially love the ones with Elliot too!

Jaimie - so, sooooooooooo precious. need another baby. now. : )

Michelle - Beautiful pics! Meredith – those are so precious of you and Hank! Congrats on your precious baby!!!

Jeannette Swan - You forgot the flashing red warning to try to keep me from looking…remember makes me want a baby!! The pictures are absolutely precious!

Jesse - What a beautiful baby.

Alba - when I see the skin, the mouth, these features, I want to have another one. Normally I think that I’m done, but whenever I see or touch a tinny little baby my hormones start to shake once again.

Brooke - Love the funky wood painting/art. Really fun pictures. Do babies bottoms ever get old? so cute!!

Crystal - Those last 2 are precious!

Marsue - Thank you so much for taking these pictures. They are beautiful and will be treasured always. Those two boys are precious and I am very blessed to be their grandmother!!

Baby Sister {6 months old}

6 months already. It has been a good, full, living in the moment and relishing it 6 months. I am thankful and overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for my baby girl.
1.10sixmonths-01

For all of you that ask for warnings when I post baby pictures….let this be your warning! Baby Sister turned 6 months old and we took some new pictures to mark it. She’s been living in fleece pjs, so it was fun to actually put something else on her for a few pics. However, I am still in love with her little rolls so I opted for sweet, soft baby skin on most of the pics.

I know I am her mom, but you gotta admit…she is a cutie CUTIE! I am going to have a hard time picking which ones to print.

I am thinking of doing one really big in her room…which one would you make BIG?

1.10six2-011.10sixmonths-02

I’m not sure why I like this one, there is just something about it.1.10sixmonths-03

She has a really LONG tongue…she has also started this high pitched squeal noise. The boys always grunted…she squeals. She’s developed a fake cry that has a bit of a high pitch and pathetic face to go with it – now she’s starting to seem different than the boys. I can’t wait until the spring to get her in a mud puddle :)

1.10six-011.10sixmonths-04

I like this one because there is the newborn picture of her in the background all sweet and asleep…and then her now. She is every bit as active as any of her brothers at this age. She is scooting from room to room and gets anywhere she wants to go. In this particular picture she was scooting herself right off the bed.1.10sixmonths-05

Since I was tired of chasing her I emptied the toys out of her bucket and stuck her in it. Much easier on me.1.10sixmonths-061.10sixmonths-07

Me and my big blue eyes are coming to get you…

1.10six2-03

Chris took a few of me with her….I think he did a pretty great job. On a sidenote, when we put together her room, I intentionally placed the pallet bed opposite the window so we could get good light on it for pictures like this.1.10sixmonths-081.10sixmonths-09

A while back I saw a photograph of a baby with a HUGE flower on her head. Not the big ones that some kids wear everyday, but HUGE as in obviously a photo prop. The photograph was beautiful, it seemed timeless and elegant. I wanted to try to recreate it, but couldn’t remember where I had seen it, so I winged it.  I bought the biggest flower I could find at Hobby Lobby and turned it into a clip. As funny as these pictures are, there is still something about them that I kind of like…

flower

My attempt wasn’t what I was going for. Chris and I had some good laughs over though. He said, “All she needs is a banana.” What? I asked. “You know the Chiquita Banana Lady.”fruit

Well it just so happens we have plastic toy fruit.

1.10six-02

If the Monday blues get to you today just close your eyes and picture my daughter with plastic fruit on her head!

Happy Monday!

Jill R - So sweet! I love the picture peeking out of the bucket. And the one in the sweater….and the one in the pink shirt….but I also really like the one in the green dress. (She reminds me of a little baby Scarlet O’Hara in that one.) I’m no help….

Christy - Adorable! Such a cutie! Love the pictures of her in the bucket

Ryan - Soo cute! I’d print the one of her in the bucket with her big blue eyes peaking out. That’s my favorite. :)

Alba - Ja,ja,ja. The plastic fruits were a little bit too much. I like the bucket and the one that her and her blue eyes are coming… Lovely, lovely rolls, so yummy.

christina larsen - The plastic fruit made me laugh. So cute. I really like the ones in the bucket. Either one would look wonderful big. However, they would all look good big, but those were my favs. :)

Sarah - They are ALL adorable. I say the first bucket picture or the pink shirt picture where she is looking right at you or the sweater picture…. ok nevermind print them all. Give her a collage of herself in her room :)

Mary - I like the ones with the flower on her head. It captures her blue eyes and her belly rolls. But also from a decorating standpoint, the colors in it could match any room decor you decide to go with. They’re all precious.

Kari S - Love the green dress pic, the one where she is sitting against the wall, on the bed with big blue eyes and the bucket pics! I say wallpaper a wall in her room with all your precious pics!!! She is a doll!

Susan - LOVE the black and white one where she’s against the wall in her sweater…such dainty little features and she’s deep in “thought”-:0)

Kara P - I am pretty sure I could never choose just one of these to blow up!!!! So cute!!!!

amanda torres - Absolutely wonderful! I love the one with the big flower on her booty. Definitely my favorite one.

Jennie Frake - I love the b/w ones in the bucket. She’s so cute!

Misty - The first bucket pic would be my choice! I love the second one too though….it is DARLING!!

bopha - she is absolutely adorable! so, maybe a girl wouldn’t be so bad :)

Sarah - Just beautiful… and thanks for encouraging my baby fever even more than normal today! :)

Christian T - I think you should print the one with her in the bucket with just her eyes peaking out. Love it!

lorae - Hands down the shot in the bucket with her peeking over. I immediately thought of Carmen Miranda, aka Chiquita Banana Lady, on the large flower shot. Funny stuff.

Trina - absolute favourite is the one with just little eyes peeking over the bucket.

Sarah GM - One of the bucket ones!

ashlee - that last one is so funny! i love them! please tell me about the blanket in the background of the pic where she is wearing he pretty messy flower. I love it! my fav is the one of her peaking over the edge of the bucket.

the inadvertent farmer - Thanks for the warning…I ignored and peeked anyway, oh my goodness gracious is that one darling little girl you’ve got there! I see you dilemma I love them all, could not choose which to print. And yes the fruit made me smile! Kim

Rachel C - Absolutely irresistible! I love, love the pic with her big eyes peeking over the bucket. What a great picture!

katherinemarie - oh my oh my! What a darling! Wasn’t it just yesterday when I was looking at your beautiful belly shots? She really can’t be six months… no way! And that fruit hat— heheheheheh… I actually made my son one of those (he is 13 now) when he was 9 months….I should bring that photo out just to make him blush.

THANKS FOR all your GLORIOUS GIRLY SHOTS!!!!!!!!!

rachel denbow - Love them all! Especially the one from the bucket and the two of her on her quilt (1 week and 6 months). ENLARGE THEM ALL!!!
;)

Jeannette Swan - I looked anyway, even with the warning…how could I not! Oh, she is beyond cute!! I continue to be so jealous of all your amazing pictures. The ones in the bucket are priceless, but I also really like the one in the pink shirt sitting against the wall.

kelly - LOVE them. She is so precious. I love the ‘blue eyes coming to get you’ shot.

maegan - LOVE all the pictures! But I have to agree that the ones in the bucket would look great big- especially the one of her peeking out. Too cute!

kat - I love the one of her peeking out of the bucket, and the one where she is sitting against the wall wearing the pink shirt. All of these are magnificent! That flower and fruit headband is quite a laugh!

Amanda Mc - Oh Ashley, she’s so beautiful! I love all the pics. Maybe you should use that number generator thing to make this decision too :D

Amber - I love the one of her peeking out of the bucket. She is so adorable. I am the one who introduced myself to you at baby Gap on Saturday. I was a little embarrassed and almost didn’t say anything but am glad I did. Hope you found some cute stuff.

AshleyG - HAHAHAHA that seriously made me laugh so hard.

Griswold Fun - Laughed out loud!!

ellebows - My absolute favorite of this bunch of photos is the one in the bed with the newborn photo in the background. Beautiful! I love her little expression and pose :-)

Kristen - Geesh, I have been really missing out while the darn google reader thinks you last posted months ago. Now I have so many post to look at! These pictures are gorgeous, just beautiful!

Andy - I loved your blog, the children are very cute and that photo with the fruits has a few of the my country! I live at Brazil.

Congratulation, your children are wonderfull, I’m sorry my worst English.

strong hug

My sunshine {playing in the crib}

You are my sunshine

My one of four sunshines

You make me happy when skies are grey (and its cold and snowy outside)

You’ll never know dear

How much I love you

Please don’t take my sunshine away12.09bed-0112.09bed-0312.09bed-0412.09bed-0512.09bed-06

“Hey Chris, see if she’ll stand up and hold onto the side for a picture. Stay close in case she falls.”12.09bed-07

No that crib is not dirty…that is the remanants of her 3 older brothers chewing on the side.

Yes, for the past six years someone has been sleeping in this crib.

Yes, I know they make plastic covers to prevent that.

Yes, I never remembered to pick one up.12.09bed-08

On a random note, Chris and I thought it would be fun to go ice skating downtown. After a LONG ordeal of getting kids ready and dropped off I tried to hold my tongue and not be Debbie Downer about the weather. As you know, I hate the cold. On this particular day it was 22 degrees out. My mom lent me her ice skates, which was a bit embarrassing walking up to the rink. When you have your own skates people assume you know how to skate. Wrong. Well I just couldn’t bear the cold..so we took a pic by the rink, I jumped in the air pretending to have fun and we left. Ice skating in downtown under the Christmas tree sounded so good…but I am a cold weather wuss.

Alba - my crib looks exactly the same, with the tiny difference that only two babies have slept there…
I can understand why you are in love with this precious little thing, my godness, she looks, no, she is more pretty, chubby, more… sunshine as the times goes by. Congratulations

Christian @ Modobject at Home - These photos make me eager for April. My own *third* sunshine is on the way! Love that standing-in-the-crib photos — priceless.

My deep south, thin blooded ways would’ve forced me to leave the skating rink too.

Beki – TheRustedChain - Ohmygoodness, she’s adorable! Love those rolls.

Courtney - So I’m dying to know how you took the first and I think 5th photo where it looks like you are on the same level as her. Did you put your camera through the rails of the crib? I love that angle!

Shannon Phillips - She is starting to look so much like her Mama. Love it!

Rachel - That is funny. I love that you still took pictures…..

AshleyAnn - Courtney – yep, I just shot through the rails. I placed the camera right up close, so it didn’t pick up the rails in the picture. One of them I might have actually put the camera in the bed and had the rails between my face and the camera – can’t remember for sure.

beth - I love the photo of her standing in the crib – her face! :-)

I am so-o with you on the cold weather issue! A friend of mine told me last night it’s supposed to be 17 here on Thursday (we’re near Dallas). I said to her, “Well, that’s your carpool day to take the kids to school, which means I won’t even need to leave the house!”

Kate - She is sooo cute… I could just nibble on her all day!!

christina larsen - I am a cold weather wuss, as well. I have been complaining for the past 2 weeks how cold I am. I am soooooooooo over winter!:)

bopha - too funny, the pics tell a whole other story. your sunshine is too cute, that is our favorite song at our house.

ashlee - i love the look on her face when you stood her up…she’s like “what the heck is this?!” love it!!
where did you get her crib sheet? its precious! mercy is still sleeping on the blue velour one from her brother:)
oh and Im so over the cold too…bring on the summer!!

Maegan - OMG! That shot of her looking cross-eyed at the crib rail is priceless!

Erin - I like the pic of you frolicking with your skates Nancy Kerrigan haha ;)

erin conrad - love the ones of her grabbing her toes. too cute!

Jill J - At least you look like you’re having a really good time. :) I love that crazy baby, cross-eyed stare. They all do it, huh? :)

Mara - I love love love the short depth of field you were able to capture. Do you mind if I ask what lens you used for the shots? As always your pictures inspire me to become a better photographer of my own kids.

anne c - beautiful little girl..she reminds me a lot of my Kate! I think they are pretty close in age..hope to be able to take pics like you one day! on a random note…I WANT YOUR FLOORS haha :) P.S. I am taking some pictures for a close friend this weekend in the hospital during her delivery…there is NOT going to be good light..any suggestions on how to take the best pic would be more than greatly appreciated!

Carrie Sowell - You are too funny, but I’m with you on the cold weather! And your little sunshine is getting so big SO fast! Too cute!

tiny twig - sweet moments you captured. those are always the ones i look back on and smile. :) p.s.–your date looks like a fun adventure! those are also the ones i look back on and smile.

rachel denbow - I’m with you on cold weather. California winters never saw anything in the 30’s much less a wind chill in the negative temps!

Your jumping picture is so fun, though, and it’s a memory in itself. Breese is such a beauty. Her cross-eyed pic is fantastic!

trish - CRACKING UP!!! the cross-eyed picture is the funniest and cutest picture EVER!!! you definitely have yourself a little beauty :)

Michele - Those pictures of that baby girl made my DAY!!!! (and gave me the baby fever) :) Too cute.

the inadvertent farmer - Two days in a row of babies…ughhh my reproductive organs can not stand it!

She is simply and completely precious…maybe she’ll grow up to be an ice skater unlike her wimpy mama! Think spring…I know I am! Kim

Jeannette Swan - Absolutely beautiful pictures of baby!! At least you have pics that look like you had fun skating.

kelly - LOVE those sweet pics! The one of her grabbing the bed is too funny! LOL.

patti - those eyes! love the cross-eyed photo – she’s a cutie-pie! but you knew that! :)

amanda torres - The rolls. I love the rolls! I also love how you made yourself look so carefree and fun-loving even though you were tortured by the cold. Good luck on Friday and Saturday…BELOW ZERO wind chill. You should invest in a Snuggie. (You may not be laughing at my comment, but I am cracking myself up)

lea helmerich - absolutely adorable!

meg duerksen - she is delicious!
i heard rumors of a real live date that may happen with my husband and i this friday…can it be true?!!!
i don’t want to go skating either!
george clooney movie please…and dinner in a dark restaurant. :)
at least you tried ashley…

AshleyAnn - Mara…I used my 50mm lens.

Emily - your baby girl is soooooo adorable!! beautiful images! i also love the ice skating photos… y’all are awesome. :)

Ashley Matheny - That picture of her staring down cracks me up! She is so stinkin cute!! Thanks for brightening my day :)

Heidi - She is too cute! I cant stand it!!

maegan - The photos are beautiful. Love the framing in the ones of her standing in the crib. She is even more beautiful than the pictures! And at least you got some cute pics out of the ice skating idea.

naomi - Today, where I live it was -4 fahrenheit! (i.e. -20 Celsius.. I’m from Canada). Anyway, love your blog and your crafts and your photos!

j. hutton {2 weeks}

Biggest Brother and I got to go see some friends and their new baby. Well, I got to see the baby. Biggest Brother was more interested in playing Lego Star Wars on the Wii with his buddy – the baby’s oldest brother.  I, of course, had to grab a few shots of the baby. Tiny J. Hutton is the third son for our friends…and if you ask me that is pretty close to perfect. 3 brothers. 3x the Legos. 3x the wrestling. 3x the noise. 3x the dirt. 3x the rowdy fun. 3x times the “Mommy’s boy”. Congratulations J & A, he’s awesome!

This picture just makes me smile. So much of taking pictures of newborns involves getting them comfortable and calm….I’ve seen a lot of mom’s fingers in tiny mouths to calm a baby down. Even though it isn’t a posed, elegant shot of a newborn – this is the type of stuff I want to remember about my own relationship with my kids. One day J. Hutton will be much larger than his mom and she can look back at this picture and remember how her tiny pinkie finger calmed him down.

dianereeves - I love that you captured her calming him down with her finger, that is so sweet. That tie onsie is adorable too.

Jeannette Swan - I have been thinking of them – so great to see some pictures of the beautiful baby boy. I’ll second the motion that 3 boys is great – although to have a girl in the mix is wonderful too!! P.S. can you warn me when baby pics are going to be the post…it makes me want one!!!

Jackie - Cute family! Is that a diaper cover or a polka-dot diaper?

the inadvertent farmer - You should put a warning at the top of these type of post…’do not look at this under peril of your womb crying’ Oh newborns are like drugs to us who are done…sob.

Stunning photos as always. Kim

Ashley Smith - Ashley, Thank you so much for the great pictures of J. Hutton! I think my favorite so far is the top one, wrinkled head to match the wrinkled back.

The diaper is polka dotted, so cute and affordable, Target brand!

Ashley

chantelle - yeah-the baby pics makemewant another baby too-sooo cute and sensitive!

Shannon Phillips - I just love this post and I love your friend’s headboard and scarf. She has great taste in friends, clothing and furniture. Just perfect.

Ashley - oh my. these pictures are most certainly adorable! Also, I HAVE to know where that onesie is from!!!!

Lisa - Your photos are wonderful I love a great baby picture I don’t even have to know the baby, hehe. I love the ones of your baby in the crib especially the cross eyed one looking at the crib rail great job.

Harper {just over a week}

Remember about a week ago when I posted that I just got done capturing a little one enter the world? Well here she is! Meet little Harper. She is about 5 1/2 lbs small…TINY little bean. Cute as all get out – just like her big sister. It was my special treat to myself to get out of my wild and crazy house and go visit her. I love her.  Big Brother (my 3 year old) has been asking daily to see Baby Harper. He recently told me, “Baby Harper doesn’t have hands.” After a few questions I realized he had never seen her out of her swaddle blanket and in fact believed she didn’t have hands! Kids are so fun.

One of the hard things about having 4 small kids is not getting to always go to the hospital to visit friends who have just had a baby. I was bummed to miss out meeting Trace when he first arrived, but was so excited to get to stop by his house and meet him this week…just shy of 2 weeks old. His parents are great friends of ours and were actually some of the very first friends to step out and ask me to photograph them when I was just starting out. They are also the type of friends that have always shown genuine interest in my boys and usually smile (or laugh) we they see me and my rowdy crew in the church hallways. T & A, thanks for letting me come over and meet Trace. He is so handsome and I know some older boys who will love to teach him all about legos and wrestling in the future!

Had to get one of their first son…1109trace-081109trace-09

Can you believe he was awake the whole time and I never heard a cry out of him…he squeaked when I touched him with my cold hands, but that was it. So tiny…1109trace-10

Before anyone sends me an email…no I am not currently booking sessions or weddings. I do still have a few on the books from WAY back.

There is a tab on the top of the blog “info”, under that tab is a listing of local photographers. Sorry.

We did this session on a very overcast day – which typically people think is terrible for pictures. It made me think about doing a post sometime on taking advantage of the automatic settings on your camera for those of you that do not know how to shoot manually. Is there an interest on that?

A May bridal session…a September wedding {Christi’s bridals}

Funny that just yesterday I posted about how the session side of my photography business is on hold and then today I post a session. Figures it would work that way. I have been anxiously awaiting when I could post this session. We did it in May, but had to wait until after the wedding to post some. Christi was my first bride to opt for a downtown setting…we did some at a park too. It was so much fun – ideal setting, great lighting, a fun & gorgeous bride. Almost makes me want to start booking weddings again…almost, but not quite :)

Congratulations Christi (& Shane)!

Christi wanted a bit of a vintage look to the post processing – did I say how great she was! This first one she ordered a large gallery wrap canvas of. It was stunning.

What you don’t see in the picture above is the strange man sitting on stairs behind me making comments about how gorgeous Christi was…we left that spot pretty quickly. Christi, I bet you won’t forget that part of the session :)

So you all had some pretty creative guesses on what I had in the works. Many of them made me laugh…pregnant, adopting, renewing wedding vows…those are BIG things. A blog makeover is a pretty SMALL thing! It was fun to read what you wrote, I think I’ll have to do something like that again. If you are wondering why the change…well it was just time. Over the course of the last year this blog has changed so much. What used to be a place to post sneak peeks for clients has become more of all inclusive creative outlet for me. I guess I am a blogger now :) For those wondering about my photography business – it is still on hold. Right now I am enjoying teaching SnapShops and I don’t forsee starting up sessions again anytime in the near future. Life is good at home with 4 kids and I just can’t juggle the demands of what sessions include right now. The blog content won’t be changing much – I was just ready to remove the “photography” part of the blog name. I am contemplating adding some small advertisements at the bottom. You can see a couple there now. I did a new “About Me” page and “SnapShop” page under the “info” tab. If you are interested in advertising, let me know. I have a lot of details to work out on that.

So…what do you think of the new makeover? Are the slideshow pictures slow to load? Comments please!

Lisa - Oh, I love it! I think the slideshow at top is the perfect speed. It loaded right away for me.

Meagan - Love it! Of course, I am obsessed with birds right now, so of course I love it!

Shanalea - first off, i love the brothers “wrastlin” in the yard. I hope and pray that mine will continue to love each other and “play” together their whole lives. The blog makeover looks great too.
