Elliot {10 days}

I took a break from the beautiful chaos that is my house and got too see peaceful little Elliot at home with his doting parents. He was such an easy baby to photograph….I love my “nephew”! We took the boys to meet him last week at the hospital. When I told Corbett we were going to go his response was, “Can’t you just take a picture of him and show me?” I guess newborns aren’t a high priority for a 4 year old boy….

The Fullingims {newborn & family}

These are our dear friends…who we have been missing since they moved out of state! It was so GOOD to see them and to snap of few of their growing family. When we first met they had just gotten married and my Corbett was just a newborn - here we are 6 kids later!

Their newest addition at 1 month:

Afton {6 months}

Well I had to post of few of Afton, her mom joined me at the park and chased my boys while I snapped a few in honor of her 6 month birthday….

I just think her sad little face is TOO cute in this one

Corbett kept himself busy creating a big pile of leaves to play in…Hudson kept himself busy by antagonizing his big brother.

Shane & Christy {couple turned engagement session}

Here ’s some more from Shane & Christi’s proposal/engagement session. The original plan was to do some fall pictures and then some with more of a Christmas feel…her smile just kept getting bigger. Priceless.

Jeff & Tabby {engagement session}

The rain held off and we were able to tromp around downtown a bit for Jeff & Tabby’s engagement pics. Their wedding will be the first of just a few weddings I will be shooting next year. After spending a little time watching them interact - I am pumped about the wedding. You can tell by the pictures that they know how to have a good time together. Congrats guys!

Shane & Christi {engagement session…proposal}

I was thrilled and honored that Shane invited me along as he planned to propose to Christi. Halfway through the session he asked her to be his wife. It was BEAUTIFUL - oh yes, I was crying. It is clearly evident that they are crazy about each other. I wanted to get the proposal pics up so they could share with friends. I will post the rest of their session next week. Some of you might recognize his twin brother from a previous session. Congratulations Shane & Christi!

Jen {maternity session}

So my regular readers are noticing an influx of posts today…I have one I wanted to post tonight, so I am trying to get the others one up. I still have several for next week, but check back soon for a fun proposal!

No Post Tomorrow

I am not sure how she convinced me to do a maternity session, but I am glad she did. I have always avoided or turned down these sessions. I know how picky brides are about themselves when they look incredible, so I’ve generally avoided photographing moms-to-be. The hardest part of this session was working to make sure she looked pregnant (she’s about 7 months along) - can you believe how incredibly beautiful she is?! Jenn, thanks for making my first maternity session a great experience.

I’ve always seen maternity session with all kinds of things on or wrapped around the tummy…some cute, some not so cute. We opted for shoes….but laying on the ground among leaves instead of a cush studio floor. Thanks for being so willing Jenn!

Elliot {my “nephew”}

So, I have a lot of nieces and nephews…if you can describe 5 of the hairstyles I have had in the last 10 years, then I claim rights as an Auntie on your kids. In the midst of total chaos around here, I was able to sneak by the hospital and wait as Eliot made his debut. I am lovin’ his hair and he is just too cute for words. Congrats Court & Blake, we are all so excited for you!

The Williams

I have had the opportunity to photograph their youngest a couple of times, but this is the first family session we did. I hope you can tell through these pictures what a great family they are - with 3 pretty cool kids….

This version of the three of them is so familiar to me….I can’t count how many pictures I have of my oldest being a great big brother holding the youngest - while the middle child is sprawled out next to them.

Ethan {7 months}

I was really looking forward to this session, I hadn’t seen Ethan since his newborn session (that is him on the banner above wrapped in the blue blanket). He was the first newborn I did after Everett’s birth - they are just a couple of weeks apart. This little guy has the greatest BIG smile….

If you can look at this picture without a big smile yourself…well, something is wrong with you.
