a pocket full of posies - Oh my goodness!!! You have brought back such a fun memory! when we lived in Tulsa we used to “eat our weight” in Jim’s!!! I think I know what we will be having for dinner tonight!
although it won’t be nearly as good as Jim’s!
Blessings!
Jill
ashlee - ahhh…we live down the street from Jims coney island…yum!! we make our own baby food too. I always felt it was such a waste of money to buy it in a jar when I can just mash up what we were eating:) Your blog is such a breath of fresh air. I visit every morning to see what goodness you have posted. Have an amazing weekend!
Erin - Loving the coney post and how you know all the “hot spots”…also loving that pic of you enjoying your coney

Kara - I like how you posted all the pictures of your garden first!

I am with you on the no juice thing…my son is 15 months old and drinks milk and water only. He has no need for juice-just pure sugar. Good for u!

meg duerksen - i have been to that spot in hawaii! i cheered in the hula bowl in 1991.
we practiced at Univ. of hawaii and our hotel was right by diamond head.
we are having a great time in chicago!
and now i am craving a hot dog…..like really bad!
Kate @ Songs Kate Sang - Oh MY GOODNESS!! Brian’s grandmother lives in Tulsa (she passed away about 3 years ago)… we visited Never on Sundays EVERY TIME we went up. I loved that and Merrit’s Bakery up the road.
Small World!!
Anna Joy - I’m reading this late at night and you just made me extremely hungry. I’m about to heat up a turkey frank (my healthy alternative to yummy hot dogs).
Jen - Sounds so tasty! We have a Place called Hippos in Michigan that is super good.
Jen - P/s I made/make my own baby very big on it I can say with confidence that my kids have never had any jarred baby food. My husband and I both believe that b/c of that (making baby food) our kids will eat anything and they do
.
chantelle - I am with you girl! 1. my son hated jar food-we had to try it on a trip to vegas (for hubby’s work) once-he wouldn’t eat any of the jarred stuff I thought he would starve (even though I was also BF-ing, silly girl I was)-we ate many bananas, papayas and strawberries that weekend! I am also a hotdog lover-I worked at sumemr camp for 5 years and lived on camp fire roasted hotdogs all summer long-with beans cooked over a campfire is my fav romatic dinner (we made sure we had a fire penciled in when we did the back yard reno!) Lastly-my Dad gives my son crackers-we don’t eat much wheat even though we live in the bread basket of Saskatchewan-it’s all the trans fats that drive me crazy.
Love your style and values-all of it!
Victoria Miller - If you’re ever in CT the Super Duper Weenie is incredible, and was before it was on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives. I love the New England Dog (being a new England girl) with some extra sauerkraut myself.
stephanie - the Dog House recently just opened near our house…we have to try it soon!!
